• Shall be the chief elected officer, preside at LSN membership and board meetings
• Shall represent LSN in its affairs and be the official spokesperson for LSN
• Shall create special committees as necessary and shall assign their duties with the approval of the Board; and shall be a member ex-officio of all committees

First Vice President

• Shall serve as President when the President is unable to perform those duties
• Shall be designated as the President-Elect and will serve as President in the following year
• Shall serve as the Chair of the Nominating Committee
• Shall oversee the Membership and Infrastructure Committees

Second Vice President

• Shall serve as Assistant the Chair of the Nominating Committee Chair
• Shall oversee the Collaboration and PR Committees
• Shall be designated as the First Vice President in the following year

Immediate Past President

• Shall act as a liaison to other senior groups and organizations
• Shall be actively involved with the strategic planning process

Secretary

• Shall keep the minutes of LSN membership and Board meetings and make them available for review
• Shall be responsible for collecting and distributing mail received at the LSN post office box or other designated location
• Shall be responsible for sending out general correspondence as needed on behalf of LSN

Treasurer

• Shall be responsible for all monies and funds of LSN
• Shall be responsible for coordination of all committees related to LSN financial affairs
• Shall develop LSN annual budget (including expo budget) and prepare periodic financial statements and reports
• Shall disburse funds as directed by the Board, make deposits and reconcile bank account
